Rules of the Game
Objective
In this game, you have to buy yourself out of four levels: Deprivation, Reconstruction, Oppression, and Systematic Racism
Each level costs $15,000 in order make it onto the next
To earn money, you'll learn about the struggles the Black Community have endured throughout history
During the game, you'll be given cards that will either earn you money or lose you money
Those cards are called Fate Cards, Reading Cards, and Special Project Cards
Make sure you have a computer or mobile device near by in case you need to research the cards objectives
Getting Started
Divide the cards and levels
Place the cards and game piece on Level One at the start
Have phone or computer prepared to do research
Use paper or electronics to document your currency to purchase
Let's Play
Players start at Level 1 on the start space and Roll the dice
If a player lands on a Yellow Square, draw a card, read, and discuss the Fate Card
If a player lands on a Red Square, draw a card, read, and discuss the Reading Card
If a player lands on a Blue Square, draw a card, read, and discuss the Special Project Card
If a player lands on a Green Square, award and record $1000
Place the card back into the bottom of the pile after completion
